One Night at Fortune's Wheel
This game was inspired by our group's tabletop campaign and created as a gift for my wonderful fellow players and DM.
Our campaign is based on the Planescape module "Turn of Fortune's Wheel", written by Justice Ramin Arman, Dan Dillon, and F. Wesley Schneider. Parts of this game, especially the titular casino, are directly based on said module. The four character you can meet are our PCs and belong to me and the respective players (shoutouts to Alex, Stella, Mithras, and our amazing DMs Elias&Cole&Masti)
READ IF STUCK (BUT GO IN BLIND FIRST):
- There are 4 different endings to be reached, one per interactable character. Each of those 4 endings has 4 variations based on the identity chosen at the start of the game.
- To reach an ending, you must first give the character their respective "Small Gift" to raise their trust (you only needs to do this once), and then give them their "Grand Gift" unlocking their ending. Characters will not accept their Grand Gift until their trust has been raised.
- There are gifts and interactions the characters may react favorably to, but that will not influence their trust. For example, making small talk or giving someone a flower will have no influence on reaching an ending. Some things are just flavor!
- Actions like spinning the slots and performing on stage can yield a number of different useful results. Make sure to do them several times throughout the game.
- If you run out of razorleaves, you can always perform on the stage a few times .
- Owning more than five razorleaves unlocks the ability to give someone a bundle of five razorleaves as a gift.
